Should all team members be in the United States

Is it acceptable to have one team member outside the United States if the rest of the team is based in the US.

Hello Sangeetha, and thanks for your inquiry. Due to restrictions around the awarding of prize money to challenge winners, we have limited participation in the Super-Utilizer Health Innovation Challenge only to individuals who are residents of the U.S. Our apologies, and please let us know if you require any further clarification.

Thanks Taylor for the clarification. Since one of our team members in not a US resident, I was wondering, Is there any other forum to submit our app to CHCS outside this challenge? We think our app can help people like Mary and would love to know how to reach that population.

Great question, Sangeetha. Through CHCS' Digital Health Initiative, we are exploring ways to connect developers with the systems and organizations that serve this population in order to get digital health tools in the hands of the individuals we are trying to reach. One way we hope to accomplish this is by hosting a "digital health showcase" that brings together developers who have created tools for this population, with health plans, providers, and other stakeholders working with these individuals. While the timeline is not yet concrete, we will likely reach out to participants in our Super-Utilizer Health Innovation Challenge to participate in the event. Stay tuned!
