New Resource -- Texting for Better Care

Hi there --

Just letting you know that a new resource has been added to the Resources tab: the Center for Care Innovation's Texting for Better Care Toolkit pulls together lessons from a number of saftey net provider sites that implemented text messaging programs to improve care for their patient populations. Focus areas of the toolkit include: 

  • Selecting a vendor;
  • Developing messaging content and logic;
  • Obtaining consent and ensuring privacy; 
  • Implementation use case; 
  • External resources; and
  • Research on texting.

Greetings -- A presentation from the California Health Care Foundation, "Understanding Medi-Cal's High-Cost Populations," has been added to the Resources tab. This presentation provides information about spending in California's Medicaid program to give a sense of disease prevalence, utilization patterns, related costs, and more.
